Genesis 1;26 NIV: Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground".
Dilhorne is a loving community where everyone is trusted to love one another and the world. We live in peace and harmony, building friendships and hope. We learn to Love and value our beautiful inhabitants and its surroundings as part of God's creation and recognise our role as stewards in this.
Trust, Mindfulness, Peace, Friendship. Genesis 1 (verse 26 on describes being stewards)
Collective Worship and Religious Education are fundamental parts of not just our curriculum, but also our ethos and 'way of life' within Dilhorne Endowed C.E. Primary School. In school, we follow the 'Understanding Christianity' curriculum and provide children with the opportunity to learn about Christianity and also other religions to help them to build a deeper understanding of British society and be part of a global community.
Children come together for Collective Worship and we are blessed to welcome members of our local Church, Parish and community to lead us and share these special experiences with us.
We love working with Rev. Mike Newbon and Mrs Audrey Salt, from our church, who help to bring us closer to God.
